Last week Rudy turned 3.5 years old and this week Mira turns 9 months old. Wow, time sure flies! Seems just like yesterday Rudy was starting to "talk" and now it's Mira's turn. She loves to babble and say "hi" along with waving. She really wants to start to crawl, though she is good at going backwards and rolling from side to side.
These days Rudy is talking and signing non-stop along with always making us laugh (even when we get upset with him). Last week he saw a student sitting on a wall/ledge with a backpack...immediately he said there's Humpty Dumpty. That same day hs class was reading Paul Bunyan and there is an ox named Babe in the story. Rudy immediately shouted out to his class that Daddy's name is Babe too (since that's what Mommy calls him).
Rudy also had his 2nd swim lesson over the weekend and this one went much better than the first. Rudy even swam half the length of the pool and jumped off the diving board more than once.
They both bring us so much joy and laughter and we can't wait to see what the next month has in store for us.
